I have been teaching English for 15 years. I work in a variety of settings with different age ranges.

I have instructed children in English conversation and organized activities for children aged 6-14. Also, I have the experience of designing and implementing Summer Camp programs which focused on learning English from Disney animations.

While teaching adults English, I encourage students to start from topics they are interested. This way, they can build their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary relevant to the topics.

In my opinion, language learning and cultural understanding are equally important. I like to compare the similarities and differences in between various cultures and languages. Thus, the students could usually learn something new from what they are familiar with.

 

Last but not the least, the reason for me to learn a new language is to be able to use it in a very practical way.
