Lesson 3 - Time
It is time to talk about “Measure Words” in Chinese now. In English or other Western languages, the similar idea of “measure words” is like a “slice” of bread, a “head” of broccoli. Just, in Chinese, each noun requires a measure word. So, if you want to say, for example, ten books, you have to say “ten __(measure word)__ books” in Chinese.
Q: 你(nǐ) 昨天(zuótiān) 几点(jǐdiǎn) 回家(huíjiā)?(What time did you get home yesterday?)
